After more than two decades with her previous employer, Yolanda Daniel faced an unexpected turning point. What started as a visit to a career fair became a new direction. Through Dallas College’s mechatronics program, she discovered new strengths, built confidence and found a future she had not imagined.
Janaescia Wooten has always brought energy and creativity into every room, but it was Dallas College that helped her turn those qualities into a career. Through the college’s hospitality program, Wooten discovered a calling for the culinary arts and built the skills to succeed in a fast-paced industry.
When Marcus Russell speaks about the future of automation technology, he speaks from experience. A graduate of Dallas College’s mechatronics program, Russell now serves as a facilitator in the same program, helping bridge a workforce gap by preparing students with the skills needed to meet growing industry demand.
After his business closed during COVID-19, Geoff found a new direction and a passion for aviation. Now training in Dallas College’s Aircraft Maintenance Technology program, Geoff is gaining hands-on experience and preparing for an in-demand career. What started as a setback is now a future filled with opportunity.
